Two field experiments were carried out during the 1990-91 seasons, to study the effect of N-levels (0, 15, 30, 45 and 60 kg N/feddan (1 feddan = 4200 msuperscript 2)) on yield and its components in 3 Egyptian Gossypium barbadense varieties: Dandara, Giza 75 and Giza 45. Significant differences for yield and its components were seen between the 3 varieties. Dandara gave the highest yield and was earliest maturing.
