A comparison between some cantaloupe hybrids grown under protected cultivation



Egyptian Journal of Horticulture 1993; 18(2): 151-160



Data on yield and quality characteristics are tabulated for 10 exotic cantaloupe (Cucumis melo) F1 hybrids during 1989 and 1990. Highest mean yields were shown by M422 (26.72 kg/plot) while Radar and Haras had the greatest mean flesh thickness (3.41 and 3.10 cm, respectively).
