A preliminary analysis of the balance between supply and demand of grain in our country

The grain issue has been always one of significant concern in China. This paper first analyses the nature and reasons for the 'difficult-to-sell-grain' phenomenon. This phenomenon is associated with climatic factors as well as the marketing system. It should not be considered simply as one of excessive grain production.
