Results are reported from 20 sheep-grazing trials in which the potential of Phomopsis resistant lupins to assist in the prevention of lupinosis was evaluated. The trials were conducted at up to 10 different sites throughout the agricultural area over 3 years. The resistant lupins had significantly less visible symptoms of Diaporthe stem blight than the Diaporthe-susceptible varieties.
