A study on the estimation of wasteland and proposed strategy for their regeneration in Western Himalayas

Agricultural Situation in India 47(9): 715-720

The term waste land describes those lands which once productive have since lost their agricultural capacity due to activities such as over-grazing and other forms of misuse associated with agricultural activities. This paper aims to estimate the extent of land wasting in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh and suggest some strategies for their regeneration.
