A study on the population carrying capacity of arid lands in China: taking Changji city as an example

Chinese Journal of Arid Land Research 5(2): 109-117

In examining the population carrying capacity of Changji City, an arid region of China, this paper begins with an analysis of land resources before going on to give an analysis of water resources. The relationship between water and land resources is explored, before calculations of land productivity are made.
