Accumulation of polyols in the leaves of rice varieties differing in resistance to Pyricularia as an index of the extent of host-plant/pathogen compatibility

Accumulation of polyols in the leaves of rice varieties differing in resistance to Pyricularia as an index of the extent of host-plant/pathogen compatibility

Sel' skokhozyaistvennaya Biologiya ( 1): 162-163

The content of arabitol and mannitol in seedlings of a susceptible variety, 2 moderately susceptible varieties and 2 slightly susceptible varieties was determined by means of gas chromatography after inoculation with race 137 of the pathogen.
