Analysis of the technical efficiency of the meat industry in Aragon

Medit 5(2): 33-35

The agrifood industry is of greater importance to Spain than in most other EU member states. This is particularly true for Aragon, an important agricultural region, where the agrifood industry is the second most important industrial sector of the economy. The paper begins by analysing the relationships between the agrifood industry and the rest of the agrifood system in Aragon, using the latest regional input output tables.
