Analysis of variability under bollworm infested conditions in cotton



Biovigyanam 19(1/2): 1-6



Fifteen-day-old seedlings of 28 Gossypium hirsutum and G. barbadense varieties were transplanted in a plot heavily infested with bollworm insecticide was withheld after flowering. Estimates of variation, heritability and correlations are presented for 10 yield related traits, and degree of locule and seed cotton damage.
