Analysis on heritability of some characters in sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas)

The heritability of fresh tuber yield, dry/fresh tuber ratio and resistance to Ceratostomella fimbriate (Ceratocystis fimbriata) of Ipomoea batatas were estimated. The heritability of dry/fresh tuber ratio (78.1-83.0%) and resistance to C. fimbriate (58.6-6-96.6%) was higher than that (57-65.7%) of fresh tuber yield.
