Analysis on sedimentation coefficient of alfalfa mosaic virus

Analysis on sedimentation coefficient of alfalfa mosaic virus

Microbiology 19(1): 4-6

The physical and chemical properties of alfalfa mosaic alfamovirus (AMV) isolated from white clover in Shaanxi, China, were studied using analytical ultra-centrifugation. Five different components, with the sedimentation coefficients (S20w values) of 98, 82, 72, 65 and 36s, were found in the virus sample.
