Analysis on the grain quality of major wheat cultivars in Zhejiang Province

Analyses were made in 1987-1988 on the grain quality of wheat cultivars Zhemai 1, 2 and 3, Yangmai 4 and 5, Wenmai 9 and Limai 16, as well as standard cultivars Jingsajiang 5 and Jingaizao 21. Protein content of the test cultivars averaged 11.5% (10.94-11.99%), and content of lysine was 0.33% (0.31-0.34%), threonine 0.34% (0.32-0.36%) and total amino acids 10.90% (10.35-11.89%).
