Analysis, estimation of water and energy saving irrigation systems (sprinkler, mobile nozzle, drip, mobile drip and furrow irrigation)

Estimation procedures were developed to determine an optimum irrigation method and quantity of irrigation water applied. Data on crop water performance were collected for 5 application methods with potatoes and second crop soyabean or maize as test crops. Sprinkler irrigation produced the highest yields for all 3 crops at almost all water vol. applied.
