Analytical study of costs of production and its use for estimating agricultural prices for sugarcane in Egypt



Assiut Journal of Agricultural Sciences 21(2): 385-407



This study estimates and evaluates the role of various factors affecting the cost of production for sugarcane in Egypt. The results indicate that the average cost increased during the 1979-89 period. The most important factors responsible for the price rise are the cost of human and animal labour.
