Analyzing remote sensing geobotanical trends in Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada, using digital elevation data

Analyzing remote sensing geobotanical trends in Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada, using digital elevation data

PEandRS, Photogrammetric Engineering and Remote Sensing 57(9): 1179-1183

The influence of site factors (including lithology) on vegetation was examined for a 10 x 13 km area in Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario, utilizing field, stereo air photography and aeromagnetic data (obtained in 1990 for the preparation of a digitized geological map), for comparison with spectral data. Topographic information was analysed using a digital terrain model and different site drainage classes were distinguished.
