Analyzing the transfer of agricultural technology



Agricultural technology: policy issues for the international community: 165-179



Direct transfer of agricultural technology, in which a technology produced or generated in one place becomes directly implemented in another, is inhibited by various edaphic, climatic, economic and policy factors. Indirect transfer of technology can take place through adaptive research opportunities, where the technology or pre-technology research being done in other regions can be exploited by adaptation to local conditions.
