Anatomical structure of the shoots of Karelian birch

Studies were made on 1500 seedlings of Karelian birch (Betula pendula f. carelica) obtained from seeds of controlled pollination. The seedlings were divided into 3 height classes at the end of the first season in a greenhouse : (1) 30-60 cm, (II) 15-30 cm, and (III) under 15 cm.
