A project is proposed for southwestern Ethiopia, involving Ethiopian universities, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Institute of Agricultural Research, that will attempt to control major health problems of farm animals (including Trypanosoma infection), tackle the dry-season shortage of feed and improve the general productivity of the animals.
