Anionic paper as an extractant of available soil phosphorus

An iron hydroxide-impregnated filter paper (IFP) was compared with Mehlich-1, Bray-1 and Anion Exchange Resin methods as a plant-available soil P extractant, under laboratory and greenhouse conditions. The shaking time and IFP area for adequate soil P extraction were studied. Six soil samples were then incubated with six concn of soluble P and cultivated with lettuce.
