Anomalohimalaya cricetuli (Ixodoidea: Ixodidae) in the mountains of Central Asia and differential diagnosis of female and nymph

Anomalohimalaya cricetuli (Ixodoidea: Ixodidae) in the mountains of Central Asia and differential diagnosis of female and nymph

Parazitologiya 26(5): 403-408

Six new findings of A. cricetuli were made (on Cricetulus migratorius at 1600-3200 m) in separate localities in the Tien-Shan mountains and in western Pamir mountains (Kyrgyzstan); a total of 2 females, 13 nymphs and 8 larvae was found. The females and nymphs generally coincide with the first description of A. cricetuli, but the larvae lacked the eyes described by K. F. Teng and C. A. Huang (1981) (Acta Entomologica Sinica, 24: 99-102).
