Balneotherapeutic facts in Gyor-Moson-Sopron county and their importance in medical tourism

, : Balneotherapeutic facts in Gyor-Moson-Sopron county and their importance in medical tourism. Balneologia, Gyogyfurdougy, Gyogyidegenforgalom 13(3/4): 145-156

Due to its geographic location and its thermal water reserves, Gyor-Moson-Sopron County in Hungary is one of the most important areas for thermal tourism in central Europe. Between 50%-80% of the water in the area known as the 'Small Plain' and the western part of the county contains medicinally valuable minerals. The mineral water generally contains alkali-hydrogen carbonate and is relatively rich in chloride, bromide, ionide and fluoride.
