Bambusa vulgaris, a common Malaysian bamboo, was used in the manufacture of UF particleboards of varying densities and resin contents, and cement bonded particleboards of 3 wood:cement ratios (1:1.25, 1:2.75 and 1:3.00) and using different mineralizing compounds (calcium or magnesium chlorides, aluminium sulfate, and sodium silicate + aluminium sulfate).
