Basis of selectivity of the herbicide triflusulfuron methyl in sugar beet

, : Basis of selectivity of the herbicide triflusulfuron methyl in sugar beet. Brighton crop protection conference, weeds Proceedings of an international conference, Brighton, UK, 22-25 November 1993 (Vol. 1): 177-182

Triflusulfuron-methyl is a new selective post-em. sulfonylurea herbicide for the control of annual and perennial broadleaved weeds and grasses in sugarbeet. This herbicide is unique in its safety to sugarbeet, a crop that has often been used as an indicator of residual sulfonylurea in soils due to its high sensitivity to this class of herbicides.
