Basis of selectivity of the herbicide triflusulfuron methyl in sugar beet
Triflusulfuron-methyl is a new selective post-em. sulfonylurea herbicide for the control of annual and perennial broadleaved weeds and grasses in sugarbeet. This herbicide is unique in its safety to sugarbeet, a crop that has often been used as an indicator of residual sulfonylurea in soils due to its high sensitivity to this class of herbicides.
