, : Bean thresher for small-scale farmers. Agricultural Mechanization in Asia, Africa and Latin America 25(1): 42-44

A hand-operated bean thresher, consisting of a rubberized wooden cylinder and a concave with rubber rasp bars, was designed, developed and tested. A winnowing mechanism was also incorporated into the design. The thresher was tested for its threshing capacity, threshing efficiency, seed damage and winnowing efficiency on 2 local bean varieties (Phaseolus), TMO 241 and TMO 216.
