Behaviour of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and triazine herbicides in water and aquifer material of a drinking water recharge plant. Part IV. PAHs in the solid phase

Fresenius' Journal of Analytical Chemistry 347(1/2): 44-51

Behaviour of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and triazine herbicides in water and aquifer material of a drinking water recharge plant. Part IV. PAHs in the solid phase

Methods for determining PAHs in aquifer materials, sediments and suspended matter are described. A concentration profile for PAHs as a function of the depth is determined for an aerobic aquifer. Sediment samples from a barrage lake of the water gathering plant in Germany, and suspended matter from the area of the artificial infiltration were investigated.
