Biochemical changes induced by monocrotophos on the estuarine edible mudskipper Boleophthalmus dussumieri

Biochemical changes induced by monocrotophos on the estuarine edible mudskipper Boleophthalmus dussumieri

Environment and Ecology (Kalyani) 8.4: 1168-1173

Metabolic changes in the liver and muscles of B. dussumieri exposed to 2 and 4 p.p.m. of monocrotophos for up to 7 days were studied. Total glycogen levels fluctuated but were higher than the control in these exposed tissues, whilst protein levels were lower.
