Breeding table potatoes with multiple resistance to viruses

Seedlings with desirable agronomic traits and multiple resistance to PLRV (potato leafroll luteovirus), PVY (potato Y potyvirus) and PVM (potato M carlavirus) were selected from the progeny of crosses between genotypes with multiple resistance and varieties of high table quality or parental lines with multiple resistance to viruses. A total of 24 clones remained for evaluation in the 2nd clonal generation (11 early maincrop and 13 maincrop genotypes).
