Coevolution of plants and animals: pollination of flowers by primates in Madagascar

Coevolution of plants and animals: pollination of flowers by primates in Madagascar

Current Science 65(3): 253-257

Observations on the floral biology of the traveller's tree (Ravenala madagascariensis) and the ecology of the ruffed lemur (Varecia variegata), both endemic to Madagascar, suggest a closely co-evolved plant-pollinator relationship.
