Development of transgenic mice secreting human growth hormone in milk

Development of transgenic mice secreting human growth hormone in milk

Korean Journal of Animal Sciences 35(1): 32-38

Single-cell mouse embryos were injected into a pronucleus with a construct comprising the human growth hormone gene under the control of the rat beta -casein promoter, and the embryos were transferred to pseudopregnant mice. Five transgenic progeny were identified by Southern blotting using a human growth hormone probe.
