Do copper chrome arsenic (CCA) treated kempas piles meet Malaysian standards?

Journal of Tropical Forest Science 2(3): 263-265

The Malaysian Standard MS 822:1983 specifies a minimum Dry Salt Retention (DSR) of 16 kg/msuperscript 3 for CCA treated piles. Analytical data are presented for DSR of 19 charges of kempas (Koompassia malaccensis) piles which had been treated with CCA and received certification from the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM).
