Mouse (C3H) mucosal glycoconjugates were examined in normal small intestines and intestines infected with Echinostoma caproni or E. trivolvis using 6 different fluorescein-conjugated lectins: Triticum vulgaris agglutinin (WGA), Ulex europaeus agglutinin I (UEA-I), Ricinus communis agglutinin I (RCA-I), Glycine max soybean agglutinin (SBA), Dolichos biflorus agglutinin (DBA), and Arachis hypogaea peanut agglutinin (PNA).
