Eclosion hormone activates phosphatidylinositol hydrolysis in silkworm abdominal ganglia during metamorphosis

Eclosion hormone activates phosphatidylinositol hydrolysis in silkworm abdominal ganglia during metamorphosis

European Journal of Biochemistry 211(3): 427-430

Eclosion hormone stimulated phosphatidylinositol hydrolysis in abdominal ganlgia isolated from Bombyx mori in a specific stage of pharate adult development, suggesting that this hydrolysis plays an important role in eclosion-hormone mediated signal transduction during adult development.
