Eco-diversity of common weeds in rice fields of Assam

Surveys of the weed flora in different rice fields in Assam were conducted in 1990-92. Sedges and grassy weeds were dominant in most of the rice cultures, accounting for 63.2, 54.5 and 50.0% of the weed species in terraced rice, deep water rice and transplanted rainy season rice, resp.
