Ecogeographical races in natural populations of Triticum dicoccoides

Ecogeographical races in natural populations of Triticum dicoccoides

Biodiversity and wheat improvement: 397-408

This chapter reports on the intra-population variation found for 17 morphometric traits in the base collection of wild emmer wheat, consisting of 2340 accessions collected from Jordan during 1984-90. Information on the major collection sites (550-1100 m above sea level) and their ecogeographical parameters is presented. Accessions were evaluated for 17 agronomic characters in the field during 1990-91.
