In the 2nd cycle (1983-87) of rotations containing cereals and 20, 40 or 60% potatoes, average tuber yields of potatoes Sowa (not resistant to Globodera rostochiensis) were 32.0, 30.1, 26.8-28.2 and 20.9 t/ha after 4, 2, 1 and 0 years break from potato growing, respectively. Corresponding yields of Tarpan (resistant to G. rostochiensis) were 36.4, 36.2, 30.0-34.0 and 28.5 t.
