Ecological condition of forest stands in the zone of fluorine-containing industrial emissions

An array of biological methods was used to study the ecological condition of pine (Pinus sylvestris) and birch stands in a zone of fluorine-containing industrial emissions around Polevskoy in the Urals. It was established that damage to components of forest biogeocenoses is expressed to different degrees depending on the distance to the source of pollution.
