Ecological framework for integrated pest management of fruit flies in papaya orchards

Proceedings of the 3rd international conference on plant protection in the tropics, Genting Highlands, Malaysia, 20-23 March 1990: 64-69

Survivorship and demographic statistics were compared for populations of the tephritids Dacus dorsalis D. cucurbitae and Ceratitis capitata on papaya in the laboratory at 24 degrees C, 50% RH and LD 12:12. Females of B. dorsalis, B. cucurbitae and C. capitata survived for a maximum of 109, 123 and 222 days, resp.
