Ecological indicator values for the most important mosses of the forest floor

Ecological indicator values for the most important mosses of the forest floor

Forstarchiv 64(1): 9-16

Ecological indicator values (following Ellenberg) were derived for 9 common species of forest floor mosses in Germany. The ecological behaviour of each moss species was determined on the basis of field surveys and from the bryological literature.
