Ecological light measurement in forests

Ecological light measurement in forests

Forstarchiv 65(4): 133-138

World literature is reviewed on the main problems associated with the measurement of light in forests for ecological studies: the composition of direct and diffuse light; the shape of the receptor; spatial and temporal variation of the light; spectral modification of the light by the stand; and the use of relative values and their dependence on irradiation.
