Ecological observation on Phiolomycus bilineatus and a preliminary study on its damage control

Chinese Journal of Zoology 28(2): 5-8

Phiolomycus bilineatus, a pest of the edible fungus Pleurotus ostreatus, required 299-325 days to complete one generation in the Hefei area, Anhui Province, China. Damage caused to the fungus varied with temperature. The pest consumed 0.20-0.35 g of the fungus per g pest weight in 24 h at 12.5-15 degrees C.
