Ecological studies of carabid populations in different types of fir forests

Results are given of studies on the Carabus associations in 2 different types of fir forests and in 2 geobotanic subzones in Belorussia (USSR). There were also differences as regards anthropogenic activity. Both forest type and also anthropogenic influences were shown to affect the structure of the associations.
