Ecology and modelling of post-fire mortality regeneration of larch on permafrost

A regression model of post-fire mortality was constructed using data from studies on larch (Larix sibirica and L. gmelinii) after fires in various regions of Siberia. The model was based on the forest type, fire intensity, the permafrost zone (i.e. south, middle or north), and mean stand diameter.
