Ecology of the Aspergilli of soils and litter

Ecology of the Aspergilli of soils and litter

Aspergillus: biology and industrial applications: 329-353

Isolation techniques for identifying Aspergilus spp. in soils and the measurement of their populations are described. Environmental factors such as temperature and water potential affecting Aspergillus in soil, substrate utilization and survival, and secondary metabolites including antibiotics and mycotoxins are discussed.
