Economic analysis of the structure of demand for imported corn to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia

This paper analyses economic factors that affect the demand for imported maize in Saudi Arabia. It also determines the impact of alternative livestock subsidy policies on the demand for maize. The import demand model for maize is estimated using time series data for the period 1976-90.
