Economic evaluation of wheat varieties based on grain and forage production

Economic evaluation of wheat varieties based on grain and forage production

Current Farm Economics 67(2): 40-51

This paper develops a procedure for evaluating wheat varieties used for both forage and grain in Oklahoma based upon their profit potential and stability. It then goes on to apply this procedure to available variety performance data in Oklahoma. The effect of wheat and livestock prices on the economic performance of different varieties is also evaluated.
