Economic regeneration of landless tribals in Mizoram

Economic regeneration of landless tribals in Mizoram

Social Change New Delhi 21(2): 54-58

Collective farming operations have been a success in India. The Mullung Collective Farming Society in Mizoram is a pace- setter for integration and modernization of farming practices, helping the most vulnerable sections of society to stand on their own feet. This paper highlights the success of the collective farm operation organized by a group of landless tribals and its unique role in achieving economic regeneration of the resourceless peasants.
