Effect of different levels of N, P, K on the growth of Robinia pseudoacacia Linn. seedlings
The effects of fertilizing with 4 dosages of N (125-500 mg/plant), and 2 each (125 and 250 mg/plant) of P (as superphosphate) and K (as muriate of potash) were tested in nursery seedlings of R. pseudoacacia growing in polybags in the nursery of the Forestry Farm at Nauni, Himachal Pradesh, in 1987-88. Seeds were sown in the bags after pretreatment with concentrated sulfuric acid for 15 min. Basal doses of P and K were applied at sowing, while N was applied as 2 split doses after germination.
