Effect of different levels of NPK (10:20:20) on growth, pre-harvest fruit drop, yield and quality of apricot (Prunus armeniaca) cv. Trevatt

, : Effect of different levels of NPK (10:20:20) on growth, pre-harvest fruit drop, yield and quality of apricot (Prunus armeniaca) cv. Trevatt. Sarhad Journal of Agriculture 6(6): 571-574

Seven-year-old apricot Trevatt trees were treated with 0.5 kg urea/tree or 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 kg NPK (10:20:20)/tree. Tree girth and annual shoot growth were significantly increased with 6 and 5 kg NPK/tree Minimum fruit drop and maximum yield (71.07 kg/tree, compared with 48.51 kg/tree in controls) occurred with 3 kg NPK/tree.
