Effect of different soil cultivation methods on yield and quality of silage maize and spring barley in the potato-growing region
In field trials in 1986-89 at Trebic in the potato-growing region of the Czech Republic, silage maize received 4 soil cultivation treatments including (a) stubble breaking, manuring, medium-deep tillage; (b) manuring, medium-deep tillage, deep tillage; (c) stubble breaking, manuring, medium-deep tillage, oblique loosening; and (d) manuring, medium-deep tillage, oblique loosening.
