Effect of different water regimes on fruit quality of pomegranate (Punica granatum L.)
Sixteen treatments based on 4 different ratios of depth of water irrigated:cumulative pan evaporation (IW:CPE) of 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0, and 4 variations in the IW:CPE ratio during different stages of plant and fruit development, were applied to 14-year-old trees of Maskat. Highest fruit TSS content was obtained under 0.4 IW:CPE which was decreased to 0.2 during Nov.-Dec.
